ICC's landmark ruling sends warning to DRC using children in armed conflict.

“Today’s decision is key in the fight to end impunity in the DRC,” states Roger Meece, the United Nations Special Representative for the DRC. “It sends a powerful message to the individuals responsible for grave human rights violations that they will be held accountable for their actions. We strongly urge national authorities to pursue actively investigations and hold to account all who have committed human rights violations”.
