I bring my reusable bags almost everywhere, and I’d be even more diligent about it if I knew there weren’t going to be any plastic ones. Hopefully this will encourage scientists to develop an alternative that is as efficient and also biodegradable. (And lighter than paper bags — that’s the reason most stores don’t use them; they’re more expensive to ship. Also the glue that holds the handles on attracts cockroaches. I worked at a grocery store in high school.)
