After waging a war on The Muppets Fox wants a federal investigation into the blasphemy.
Todd Starnes wants to start his crusade against anti-religionists with Hollywood, and specifically “shows like South Park.” Here is his hilarious statement on the matter regarding the Obama Administration’s response to religious blasphemy:
“We have seen the administration come out and say, ‘we condemn anyone who denigrates religious faith.’ And they come out in regards to this anti-Muslim film.
Well, that’s well and good, but my question is, when has the administration condemned the anti-Christian films that are coming out of Hollywood? Where are the federal investigations into shows like ‘South Park,’ which has denigrated all faiths?
Where is the outrage when people of the Christian faith are subjected to this humiliation that is coming out of Hollywood?”
With regards to the ridiculous anti-Muslim film that is sparking so much controversy, Innocence of Muslims, which is what Starnes references in his rant, most of the people supporting it are members of the Religious Right, who have pointed out that the crude, badly produced film is protected under the First Amendment, and rightly so.
